Created by Yoshio Sawai, Bobobo bo bo bobo is a manga originally produced for Japan, and licensed for the US in 2005 by Viz Media. Bobobo bo bo bobo was heavily edited once it got on american screens, due to the large number of less appropriate scenes.

Despite these limitations, Bobobo bo Bo bobo managed to keep its original spirit and random jokes, usually more appealing to a japanese audience. One of its traits is the way it makes fun of other manga cartoons, like Sailor Moon, Pokemon and other like that.

Bobo bo Bo bobo was adapted for TV screens, and the american version had to be slightly modified when it came to names, due to the different audience. One key difference for the american audience is that their version does not start at the beginning of the series, but instead uses volumes 9 and 10.
