With four seasons running from 1999 to 2002, Courage the Cowardly Dog, is an animated series with three main characters: Courage and his two owners, an old lady called Muriel Bagge and Eustace Bagge, a grumpy old man. The action takes place in the town of Nowhere, Kansas. Between 2002 and 2005, Courage the Cowardly Dog was stopped, and then begun showing up as re-runs on Cartoon Network.

The Courage the Cowardly Dog series is about a dog named Courage, that tries to keep his owners safe, though he is afraid of everything. Chances are though, that in the land of Nowhere he has every reason to be scared. Apparently, Courage the Cowardly Dog was found as pup by Muriel, after his mother was sent to the moon by a crazy scientist. His usual day is spent between being scared by Eustace and by monsters, which he ends up getting rid of in the most unexpected ways.
