Krypto the Superdog

Krypto the Superdog is a cartoon series related to the Superman idea, with the dog being Superman’s dog back on Krypton. This series is produced by Warner Bros.  

Krypto the Superdog ran for 39 episodes of 30 minutes each, between March 2005 and September 2006 and was aired on Cartoon Network.

The story of Krypto the Superdog goes like this: before Krypto was destroyed, Superman wasn’t the first one to be sent off the planet. His dog was sent first to test the spacecraft, and while in the air he pushed the wrong buttons. As a result he was sent on planet Earth, where he found himself a grown dog with the powers that anyone born on Krypton has on Earth.

Krypto the Superdog found himself able to speak both to humans and animals due to a translator device he has.

He was then adopted by a boy named Kevin, who then found out about the power of Krypto the Superdog.

Superman finds his dog, and arranges that Krypto the Superdog remains with the kid who adopted him. Krypto then starts his own heroic deeds, saving the Earth.
