Magilla Gorilla
The Magilla Gorilla Show is an animated series that was produced more then 40 years ago, between 1964 and 1967 by Hana-Barbera. Magilla Gorilla was .. well, a gorilla, that stood in the front window of an animal shop all day long, eating bananas. The shop owner, Mr. Peebles kept trying to sell him, but had no success. In one episode Magilla Gorilla was bought by some thieves that needed him to break into a bank and in another episode by an advertising agency that needed a mascot. They would return the gorilla each time, and Mr. Peebles had to return their money and take back Magilla Gorilla.
There was only one customer interested in buying Magilla Gorilla, and that was a little girl called Ogee. Unfortunately, she could never afford buying her favorite pet.
The voice of Magilla Gorilla was actor Allan Melvin, that of Mr. Peebles was Howard Morris and that of Ogee was Jean Vander Pyl.
