Quick Draw McGraw

Another Hanna-Barbera production, Quick Draw McGraw is an animated cartoon that was aired between 1959 and 1966, the third cartoon made by this company.

It had 6 minute episodes, bundled 4 together to form a 30 minute show.

Quick Draw McGraw was a sheriff in a western scenario and had a mexican deputy called Baba Looey. As in many other cartoons (Duck Dodgers, Yogi Bear), this duo followed the recipe of the somewhat less intelligent Quick Draw McGraw and the brighter sidekick who was Baba Looey.

Besides being a 2 leg walking horse, Quick Draw McGraw also was a vigilante as a second identity, called El Kabong. His favorite weapon as El Kabong was a guitar that he used to hit people on the head.

As did every other animation character apparently, Quick Draw McGraw also starred in an episode of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at law. Other series that he had a guest role in were in a couple of Yogi films, a Scooby Doo series and even in Casper.
